Highlights

We are still in the early stages of understanding this new virus, where it came from, and how it affects people. WHO encourages all countries to continue preparedness activities and has issued interim guidance on how to do this. This includes information on how to monitor for sick people, test samples, treat patients, control infection in health centres, and maintain the right supplies.

taly has closed its parks and public gardens to stop the spread of coronavirus. But one park in Rimini is welcoming children with autism under a booking system. Nicola Coppa brings his son Nino to play and says it is making a massive difference to him after lockdown disrupted his routine and regular activities.
